Michael Wallot is thrilled to join the Swift team, bringing over 25 years of experience in the non-profit sector with him. Locally, he has worked with a variety of incredible organizations, including the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Mesa Arts Center, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Fountain Hills Theater, where he served as Executive Director during the pandemic. Throughout his career, Michael has excelled at donor relations, event coordination, and crafting creative fundraising strategies to help these organizations thrive. Before making Arizona his home, Michael was the Founder & Creative Director of Camp Broadway Bound and The Broadway Bound Academy in Orange County, California, where he spent more than a decade nurturing young talent. His love for mentoring youth through the performing arts runs deep, a passion sparked by the generous teachers who guided him through high school and college and helped pave the way for his Broadway career onstage in New York City. Grateful for the mentors who changed his life, Michael is now eager to work with Swift to inspire the next generation of valley youth through their extraordinary programs. When he’s not making magic happen at Swift, Michael enjoys spending time with his two adorable cats, Lucky and Vito, and is thankful that his family lives nearby. A devoted volunteer at the Arizona Humane Society, he also squeezes in time each year to return to his theater roots, whether as a director or performer, keeping his love for the arts as vibrant as ever. Michael can’t wait to meet fellow supporters and families who share his passion for the Swift Youth Foundation and to help expand its reach and impact! |
