Meet Taje

I was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA, and ever since I can remember, I’ve had a heart for helping people. I got involved in nonprofit work and volunteering as a kid, assisting my father in operating an AAU basketball team.  Supporting youth and building strong, positive communities is a strong passion of mine. In 2014, I packed up and moved to Phoenix, AZ, looking for growth, new opportunities, and a fresh start. Since then, I’ve continued doing what I love: working with young people, being a mentor, and finding ways to create impact. In many ways such as operating a teen center, working in behavioral health, or volunteering with community agencies like RAM or The Mission Continues.

​Outside of work, I’m a proud girl dad to two amazing daughters, Tamaya and Taliana, who keep me grounded and motivated every single day. I recently got engaged to my beautiful fiancée, Cynthia, and building a future with her and the girls is one of the biggest blessings in my life. I live a vegan lifestyle for health reasons. I have an unhealthy obsession with vegan strawberry cheesecake ice cream sandwiches. I love trying new things whether it’s a new recipe, adventure, or experience. I’m a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, I read a ton of personal development books, and I take a lot of pride in my ability to do a pretty spot-on Donald Duck impression. I’m also the middle child of three, which taught me a lot about patience, balance, and finding my voice. Some quotes I live by are : “Become comfortable being uncomfortable and you are always comfortable,” and “Hate is a disease only love can cure.” Those words remind me to lead with love, stay grounded, and never stop growing.
