For over 40 years, Camp Swift has served as Swift’s flagship program. For two week-long sessions every summer, campers, ages 6-12, who are economically disadvantaged from the Phoenix Metro area are selected to participate. All of our activities are STEAM-basedrock-wall climbing, arts and crafts, canoeing, hiking, swimming, ropes courses, science, sports and more.

Swift After School is our primary way of staying connected with our participants throughout the school year. When the school day concludes, students from local school districts and other nonprofits gather weekly for fun and enriching activities such as STEAM activities, leadership training, and sports. Like all other Swift programs, Swift After School is centered around our unique mentorship model of high school and young adults leading the programs and creating mutually impactful relationships with each other.

A continuation of Swift After School, Swift Saturday meets at least one Saturday a month to provide additional access to mentorships and enrichment programming. Participants meet for a day of STEM activities, art, sports, and leadership development. Swift Saturday always includes lunch and snacks. Participants are paired with teens and young adult volunteers to sustain the continuation of mentor relationships formed at Swift After School and Camp Swift.

Swift Carnival is a free day of fun for our current and prospective participants. Held annually, the Swift Carnival serves as an introduction for kindergarten through second-grade students to learn about Swift programming and enjoy a day of appreciation and excitement for our already engaged participants. The day includes over 100 volunteers, lunch, snacks, dunk tanks, inflatables, traditional carnival booths, special visits from the Phoenix Fire and Police Departments, and so much more!
