The time has finally arrived, and the second session of Camp Swift 2016 has officially commenced! The day started out a bit rainy when the campers first arrived, but we'd never let a little rain ruin our fun - the entirety of today has been camptastic thanks to our extra fun activities and amazing volunteer staff! The theme of camp this summer is COLLEGE, and each cabin has chosen a university that they are representing and learning more about all session long. Throughout the session, you'll see this theme pop up as part of lots of our programs and activities. College may be years away for our 8-11 year old campers, but we figure it's never too early to start learning about opportunities for the future, and this is a fun way to do it! Before we started formal activities for the day, we enjoyed our first delicious Camp Swift meal together. At dinner, we polled our campers about their favorite activities from the day, and the top 3 winners include:
