Swift provides certainty in uncertain times.

I am certain of one thing, I am certain that the work we are doing at the Swift Youth Foundation is more important now than ever, and here’s why.

One constant I have noticed post 2016 election is uncertainty. From friends and family to the news and members of our community, it seems like everyone is uncertain of what is ahead regardless of a personal political stance. Despite this, you can be certain in the work of the Swift Youth Foundation.

You can be certain that Swift is creating and fostering a wide and diverse community: a community that promotes values of understanding, tolerance, and a diligent work ethic.

​You can be certain that our teen mentors are making the world a better place - I see it in their daily actions and long-term commitments.

You can be certain that your donation is making an impact because 92% of all donations go directly to programming.

You can be certain that “Fun is just the start” is not only our slogan for summer camp and afterschool programs, but the passion that drives our mission every single day. And most of all, you can be certain that everything we do is aimed to instill the values of the Swift Youth Foundation for the next generations to come.

With hard work, I’m certain Swift will continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of others. Just read some of the stories! Swift is, has been, and will continue positively changing lives for years. I should know - I am a product of the Swift experience. I am also certain that by working together, we can foster stronger communities that understand the power of empathy, hard work, and vision for a better future. But, I am also certain that you can help, by investing in Swift.

Michael Evans is the Assistant Director of the Swift Youth Foundation. He graduated from Arizona State University with degrees in Finance and Human and Family Development. His favorite camp activity is the overnight.
