September 2018 Program Update

​We are excited to launch our year-round out-of-school programming for the 2018-19 school year! 

For Swift after School, our after school program for elementary aged students, we will be focusing on building teamwork skills and problem-solving skills for the first month of programming. Make sure to check the program calendar link frequently, as we continue to update and add more opportunities to volunteer.

Swift Saturdays, our monthly Saturday program for elementary and middle school aged children, continues to grow with our new middle school program called Club Swift Jr. The Club Swift Jr. program focuses on developing former Camp Swift campers into counselors by teaching them leadership skills during their middle school years. Participants meet before Swift Saturday for leadership development programming and then volunteer right after with the elementary aged participants to practice their new skills.

The Club Swift Jr. program culminates with the Swift Outdoors camping trip. On the camping trip, participants sleep in tents for the weekend having to cook their own food, plan their own activities, and tend to their campsite. This first year of Club Swift Jr. was a huge success and we can't wait for another fabulous year! Check the program calendar for dates for Swift Saturdays and Club Swift Jr! ​​
